Time for a Revolution!

It IS time for a revolution in America! Thomas Jefferson, a true patriot, once stated in a letter, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." I do not sense that it is yet the time to take up arms and storm the capital. But I have never been so outraged by the acts of MY government. There is a shell game of epic proportions going on and there WILL be disastrous results. We may not be too late to right this ship. But the ship IS sinking. If we do not plug the holes, no matter how much water we bail out, the final outcome is eminent. Read , The Third Conservative Revolution for ideas on how we can once again force the conservative to be heard. But I say lets go one better. It is not only time for the politicians to work for the conservatives, it is time for them to BE conservatives. I call for a vetting. There needs to be no quarter for any politician who would sell his/her/our principles for any...

Liberal pay-back to gun owners

Image
This is from a letter from the National Association for gun rights. August 27, 2009 Dear Concerned American, The great pay-back has begun, and it's going to be ugly. Liberals in Congress are paying back the anti-gun extremists who put them in office, and Barack Obama's H.R. 45 is the first step... ...and it's a big step. I'm writing you today to warn you of the very real threat this gun control bill poses to your liberties. The National Association for Gun Rights has a petition ready for you to sign, but I want you to understand just how dangerous this bill is before I give you the link. Please bear with me for a moment. You see, H.R. 45 would establish a national gun registry database which would: Increase requirements for firearms purchases, far beyond those ever proposed. Create a national firearms registry overseen by the Federal Government. Invoke Draconian penalties for bookkeeping errors related to the Federal Firearms Database. It gets worse though. Sarah Brad...

Dirty Secret No. 4 in Obamacare

Dirty Secret No. 4 in Obamacare by Chuck Norris (more by this author) Flying under the radar this past week was a new government report that forecasts that the national debt will double over the next decade. The White House has projected a cumulative $9 trillion deficit between 2010 and 2019, while the Congressional Budget Office estimates a more optimistic $7.1 trillion, based upon the expiration of Bush tax cuts. What this means is that Washington's out-of-control spending likely will turn the nation's already-staggering $11 trillion in debt into an astronomical $20 trillion. But there are at least two ginormous expenses that are excluded in these projections. First, the projections from both the White House and CBO incorporate their belief that the deficit will decline quickly over the next three years, as they assume fewer bailouts are needed and the economy will grow rapidly. But isn't there also the real possibility that the economy will not recover as quickly as ...

IT IS TIME.....or there will be blood.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have just about had it with those who are at the political head of this country! When I was first able to vote, I voted for George Bush. Not "W", but his father. After watching Reagan for 8 years I was excited to carry on where he was leaving off. I have never before wavered in my support given to the republican party. I knew that deep conservative principles was where my loyalties should lie. Where have those principle gone? Believe it or not, I have become wiser the older I have become. As Reagan said, Trust but Verify! I have been trusting "republicans" with MY government without really verifying what they stood for or where they stood on the issues. Obviously McCain was not a conservative. And yet I voted for him. What was I thinking? I was selling my country down the river for a lesser of two evils. I know I am not alone. Flashback: I have a very wise cousin. He advised me during "W's" re-...

What would Ronnie say about Socialized(read Universal) Healthcare?

So, like many of you I have wished for someone as well spoken and as truly conservative to the core as Reagan was. What I would give to hear Ronald Reagan today speaking against what is going on in our government. Oh wait.......watch this.....we CAN hear what Reagan had to say on this subject and on socialism in general. Take heed, this advice is what everyone needs to hear today......there is not anything outdated other than the costs. Thank you President Reagan, we are ever hopeful that we as patriotic and conservative Americans can take back this country before it is completely run into the ground. But if we cannot, we will raise our great banner up out of the ashes upon the blood of patriots and tyrants if need be. That is all

First quarter report........

First quarter report on our President Obama... This is mind-boggling: Observations on the President's Early Days: 1. Offended the Queen of England . 2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia . 3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega. 4. Kissed Hugo Chavez on the cheek. 5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia . 6. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions. 7. Gave away billions to AIG also without pre-conditions. 8. Expanded the bailouts. 9. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian. 10. Doubled our national debt/quadrupled spending. 11. Announced a termination of the space defense system the day after the North Koreans launched an ICBM. 12. Despite the urgings of his own CIA director and the prior 4 CIA directors, released information on intelligence gathering. 13. Accepted without public comment the fact that five of his cabinet members cheated on their taxes and two others withdrew after they couldn't take the heat. 14. Appointe...

WE ARE COMING!

I first read this letter after a friend turned me onto the Glenn Beck websight where it was republished after being read on the air. I think this brave patriotic American speaks for many of us patriots out there. Please read; ------------------------------- I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views an...

Apologists

----by Patrick J Buchanan ------- For 50 minutes, Obama sat mute, as a Marxist thug from Nicaragua delivered his diatribe, charging America with a century of terrorist aggression in Central America. After Daniel Ortega finished spitting in our face, accusing us of inhumanity toward Fidel Castro's Cuba, Obama was asked his thoughts. "I thought it was 50 minutes long. That's what I thought." Hillary Clinton was asked to comment: "I thought the cultural performance was fascinating," she cooed. Pressed again on Ortega's vitriol, Hillary replied: "To have those first-class Caribbean entertainers all on one stage and to see how much was done in such a small amount of space. I was overwhelmed." Thus the nation that won the Cold War, contained the cancer of Castroism in Cuba, liberated Grenada, blocked communist takeovers of Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, and poured scores of billions in aid into this region was left undefended by its own leader...

Tea Party in Arizona

Image
Yes, Arizona is alive and well. Something about being around thousands of like minded patriots that really invigorates me. Americans of ALL ages were present and accounted for. It is our children and grandchildren who are really saddled with all this debt after all. Because of the layoff last month, I find myself working several lower paying jobs to try and make ends meet. So I was not able to show up to the event until right about 6:00pm. I have to say that as I was driving past the crowds already gathered on sidewalks and holding signs on corners, I got chills right down my spine. I was pleased to see that Ronald Wilson Reagan was represented. I believe in what he said when he stated that government is not the answer, govt. is the problem. We need to shrink Govt., not grow it! I had an awesome conversation with this lady. She said that she does not like to label herself as anything but an American but feels betrayed by the media and being exploited by Obama for political gain. We ar...

Simple Truths

Some simple truths taken from here NATURAL RIGHTS The Declaration of Independence declares that "the laws of Nature and Nature's God" are the source of man's rights - not government. The natural rights listed and protected by the Bill of Rights existed before government, and in no way depend on government for their existence. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared this fact. America was founded as a republic - a "nation of laws." In a republic the government is formed by - and constrained by - laws. But America has decayed into a democracy. In a democracy voters can pass any law they please, and government is virtually unlimited in its ability to make laws, interpret the laws as it sees fit, and apply the laws with increasing force - to control the citizens. An individual must know his RIGHTS, and claim them, or they simply cease to exist. RIGHTS VS LAWS The Declaration of Independence declares that each man has natural rights that emanate from God. Na...

Militia Call to Arms

What will you do? When they tell you they need to register all guns, not for any insidious reason, just for your own good? What will you do? When the government puts taxes on ammunition. Not just a case of ammo but each individual round. What will you do? When you are told your neighbors have illegal firearms and they confiscate them, because they failed to re-register them.(because it will be a yearly fee to register your firearms) What will you do? When they decide that it is better for the common good that ONLY police should have firearms in public and so rescind by mandate all CCW permits and declare them invalid! What will you do? When your shooting ranges become so overwhelmed with regulation that they become cost prohibitive and have to close down. What will you do? When they tell you that your guns are okay, they just want to take dangerous guns off the street. What will you do? When they then come after your guns, because nobody needs more than one gun. What will you do? Whe...

Innauguration Fun Facts

During President Bush's last Innaugural celebration he was assailed for the exhorbiant amount of money spent on the gala's and additional security. Now, the money spent on the Balls and the other events are funded by private monies. That did not stop the critics of President Bush who said his supporters should spend that money somewhere else. They stated there were more pressing issues in the world that could use the money. The Facts: Bush's supporters spen over 40 million dollars on innauguration week. For Bush's innauguration, 10,000 additional security forces (FBI i.e.) were used in Washington. Obama's supporters are spending over 200 million dollars on innauguration week. For Obama's innauguration, 50,000 additional security forces are being used in Washington So, This was just to set the record Straight!

Bailout farce!

So just a quick note to bring everyones attention to the fact that the stock market is still diving. Does not surprise me. And of course, congress says it is now because there needs to be action on the bill faster. No, there should be NO action. I am still visibly shaken over the fact that so many of our elected representatives felt it necessary to go against the Constitution of the United States by passing this massive bailout. I heard Tom Coburn's speech on the floor before the vote. I felt relieved that at least some members of congress had the Constitution in mind. But then he went against his own rhetoric and voted for the bill. Why? He states on his web site that it was because Congress was the problem and he needed to take responsibility in dealing with it. I'm sorry, but that doesn'tcut it. That's like saying I will put another hole in the bottom of my boat because it is my fault the first one is there. And then hope that the water from the first hole will exit ...
