Just like in our Nations Capital, the fact that the Supreme Court deems the second amendment a right of ALL United States Citizens, Chicago says "up yours" to its citizenry!  Look over these proposals carefully, they are exactly what Obama and the liberal thugs who are running our government want across all of these United States. I don't feel that we need a concealed carry permit to carry a firearm. Unfortunately that is now most of our only options if we want to stay law abiding citizens whether those laws are constitutional or not. Gun control advocates preach they only want to keep guns from the criminal. Criminals very rarely obtained their firarms legaly so all they are doing is disarming the law abiding public. There are more gun owners in this country than are standing up for gun-rights and the second amendment. Find your voice people! Every single day in this country a law abiding citizen of the United States of America saves a life because they have a firearm. If you look at the biggest mass shootings in America, they all happened in places where firearms were not allowed. Since the recent selection of President-elect Obama, gun sales across the country have seen increases up to 50% in some places. In the period right before the election until now there have been sharp rises in gun and ammunition sales. Why is that? Many feel that they may lose their rights to purchase these firearms once Obama takes office and the gun control heavy congress can push new laws through. I would tend to agree with them.
