What they said.........

I wonder what our forefathers thought about gun control......oh wait, i don't have to wonder, THEY TOLD US!  "The right of having and using arms for self-preservation and defense is justly called the primary law of nature, so it is not, neither can it be in fact, taken away by the law of society." -Blackstone, Commentaries on the Laws of England. "Arms in the hands of individual citizens may be used at individual discretion...in private self-defense." -John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions (1787-88). "The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms." -Samuel Adams, during Massachusetts' U.S. Constitution Ratification Convention (1788). "The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." -J...

Enemies Within!

Enemies Within by Chuck Norris (more by this author) Last Thursday, Nov. 5, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist and devout Muslim, fatally shot 13 American citizens (12 service members) and wounded an additional 29 people at the largest U.S. military base, Fort Hood, Texas. For six months, authorities had been tracking the extremist thinking of Hasan. Internet postings like this one go back to May 20, 2009: "Scholars have paralleled (a U.S. soldier's falling on a grenade to save surrounding troops) to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers." Hasan vehemently opposed the U.S. missions in the Middle East, arguing with co-workers, senior officers and even patients. He quarreled with Col. Terry Lee, who testified that Hasan said, "Maybe the Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor." Dr. Val Finnell, a former classmate of Hasan's, said that Hasan was "ve...

"Gun Free Zone" = Dead Americans

Another "Gun Free Zone" Tragedy. Apparently it’s not enough for our government that the heroes in America’s armed forces risk their lives overseas defending our freedom. These days, our soldiers aren't even safe here at home stationed on secure military bases. On November 5th, a lone gunman murdered 13 fully-trained, ready to deploy soldiers, and wounded 29 more, in the most shocking terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. How was Nidal Hasan, a psychologist, able to take down so many trained soldiers? Because the government thinks its better to keep it’s armed service members unarmed . . . That’s right. Our military men and woman are banned from carrying the weapons they are trained and trusted to use in the heat of combat. President Clinton authored this asinine policy back in 1993 when he declared all military bases “Gun Free Zones.” As you know, “Gun Free Zones” do nothing but assure criminals, and now terrorists, that they will find unarmed victi...

How much does your public education systen cost you?

So, do you have any idea just how much your public education system costs you? You may be surprised. Yesterday, in elections across the state of Arizona, voters approved additional funding for the various school districts. Why did they do this? Because liberal press and teachers have been crying that without additional funding the kids are not going to have school lunch and teachers are gong to be fired and the fear mongering goes on and on. I want to share some facts with you. In Arizona the average take per student for a school is a little over $10,000. That is not a misprint. A little over a third of that comes from the state budget and the rest from the federal tax money. This is why so many professional educators are so anti-homeschooling. If the student is not enrolled they do not get full money. But they do not give it to home schooled children either. Do some basic math. If there are 25 children per classroom average, then that class is allotted $250,000 for that class...
