Sherriff Joe Arpaio

Have had some dissagreements with Sheriff Joe but this is what he does well! Read on: USA JAIL - SOME INTERESTING READING TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO, HE IS THE MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF (ARIZONA ) AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN. These are some of the reasons why: Sheriff Joe Arpaio created the 'tent city jail' to save Arizona from spending tens of millions of dollars on another expensive prison complex. He has jail meals down to 20 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them. He banned smoking and pornographic magazines in the jails, and took away their weightlifting equipment and cut off all but 'G' movies. He says: 'They're in jail to pay a debt to society not to build muscles so they can assault innocent people when they leave.' He started chain gangs to use the inmates to do free work on county and city projects and save taxpayer's money. Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get s

Mormons encourage to fight against gay marriage!

Kudos to President Monson , President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He has issued a letter to the Bishops and Area Authorities to be read in church from the pulpit. It is a call to arms asking for "means and time" to be used to turn back the tide of gay marriage and the like going on in California right now! The Mormons are working with a group of other like minded religious groups in this effort. That's a pretty impressive number. Especially when most Mormons take the time to know issues and are registered to vote.

More Govt. Unchecked

On Friday i spent the whole day in a dust control class. Taking this class makes me a certified dust control coordinator. This means I am now the responsible party for dust control measures on my jobs. Sounds great, right? We all care about clean air, don't we? I want to take a little time to dissect this though. The EPA set across the board guidelines for the whole of the USA for air quality. They back up the guidelines by tying federal money for roads etc. into meeting these guidelines . These rules are the same in every county, in every state of the union. Here in Maricopa county we have what is known as an Inversion. This is where because of the elevation and climate as well as the natural weather patterns, we get a lot of heavy particulates which tend to be forced to the low end of the valley, everything north of South Mt . Dril, Drill, Drill some more!

Yesterday Pres. Bush outlined his plan to lift the ban on new oil drilling. About Time! Sen. McCain has said he is in favor of this also. Since the policies of Jimmy Carter we have seen oil and consequently gas prices soar. We have seen the supply or oil limited because we cannot go after oil on our own soil or off our own coasts. We continue to restrict ourselves by dissallowing new refineries to top it off. I hope the American people will see through the hype and yell with a loud voice to allow more drilling, more refineries and less goverment control and interferance in the oil and gas industry. Typical of the Liberally left, thier response to Pres. Bush's plan was to say that drilling for oil 'may' help down the road(and they stress 'down' the road) but will do nothing to ease the burden of high gas prices now. I have heard however that with exisiting riggs, and known sites, we could have oil out of the ground and on the market in as little as 30 to 90 d

Secure Our Border!

Liberal Congressmen and Senators have refused to listen to the American People. We have yelled and screamed and stomped our feet. We have demanded, especially since 9-11, that they build a fence and secure our borders. They keep coming up with excuse after excuse. This is not the argument over amnesty, which Americans have also voiced an opinion on. This is about securing a pourus border which "illegals" cross in mass every day. Many may only want to come for work, but what of those who would come to hurt Americans. Only a handful of those who were dedicated to killing Americans were able to pull off 9-11. Do you think that this could not happen again? We have uncovered plot after plot to hurt us. How long until one of these plans are able to carried out? Our enemies are patient. We need to take action! The first step is stopping the influx of illegal immigration and the crime that comes with it. Once that is done we can argue the best ways to deal with those that are here.

Flooding?

The mississippi river has flooded and much of Iowa is under water. I find it interesting that we are not hearing about looting and rioting and "gangs" terrorizing the streets. What I have seen, and you have to really look, is communities banding together to protect the levees. I see citizens banding together to keep thier communities safe and help those who need help. The media has become so frustrated with all the "feel good" stories of people coming together that they have now resorted to focussing on the few who want to blame the federal government. The media loved Hurricane Katrina because they could blame FEMA and/or George Bush. What we had in New Orleans is the result of life long welfare. Communities who cannot take care of themselves because the government does everthing for them. There have been stories that some families who were relocated to the Iowa area because of Katrina, still just stood by and watched while others tried to fix the levees and

A Happy Fathers Day

Yesterday was fathers day and what a great day. It started by getting breakfast in bed from my wonderful wife and five of my six kids. One son was with his grandparents in Prescott. I was showered with gifts, including Bass Pro Shop gear. A hat, watch gift card, shirt. All great gifts. My daughter got me an engraved frame with our picture in it as well as other pictures we had taken together to swap out on occassion. It was really sweet and nice that she came up with the idea all on her own. Well, was able to take a nap after church and then grandma and grandpa brought Justin home and we were able to visit with them. We then watched the NBA finals and unfortunately the Lakers won. Hopefully the Celtics will come back and kill them in Boston. My Mom Amy took me and the wife to Dinner Saturday in honor of fathers day and it was a pleasant time. We went to my favorite resteraunt, The Texas Roadhouse.

One + One + One = Many

Recently an employee where I work was complaining about gasoline prices. Who isn't these days? Anyway I informed him of all the oil available right here in the USA that environmentalists have prevented us from going after. For example, there is an oil reserve that Royal Dutch, an oil company, has researched here in the USA that they have developed the technology to drill. They estimate that they can develop, drill and put to market, Oil, for around a selling price of $30.00 a barrel. Now, oil is going for over $130.00 a barrel . Seems like a no brainer . But no, we have groups that would use their lobbying power to prevent us from allowing this to happen. Why? no good reason that's why. Also, there continues to be discoveries just off OUR coasts in international waters that are huge oil reserves. We would have first claim and no one would compete for them because of our proximity to them. Unfortunately we are allowing OPEC and Venezuela to go after this oil bec

First Blog

Couldn't let Rhonda have the only Blog although we will use hers(because of time) to update more frequently goings on for the Family. I wanted to create this blog to vent on the atrocities that I feel the average Americans are experiencing at the hands of the govt and those who would take away our freedoms because they want to take care of us and think they can do it better. We have had so much taken away from us and had basic freedoms, guaranteed to us by our constitution, stripped away until we forget we ever had them. I welcome any and all comments including those who may dissagree. I feel healthy discussion is necessary to right the ship and I do feel that if enough of us stand up and demand our freedoms, those who have been elected will have no choice but to bend to the will of the people. And we need to stand together, not fearing to offend. "I WOULD RATHER DIE FOR SOMETHING THAN STAND FOR NOTHING"
