WHEN in the course of human events........

In the Declaration of Independence, it states(in red),

"When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another",

Notice it says when. This was not on accident. When means ANY time it becomes necessary.

"and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them,"

Laws of Nature and of Nature's God, not laws of men and given by God. How can anyone read this and say there is no place for God in this country? Some of the problems we are experiencing in our government can be directly attributed to the exclusion of God and morality in it.

Where to begin? Our government has become everything our forefathers were afraid of. We have allowed our government to become our big brother. For our own good more and more laws are passed taking away more and more of our freedoms.

"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have. The course of history shows us that as a government grows, liberty decreases." — Thomas Jefferson

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

The Pursuit of Happiness. We do not guarantee happiness, just the freedom to do what makes you happy. The only check on this freedom should be if it infringes on another basic unalienable rights.

-That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,- That whenever any Form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Our forefathers risked everything, giving their time, their treasure, and many times their very lives for the freedoms we so easily give away.

Wake up America, I love my country! Do you? Do not sit idle, do not be afraid to challenge what you know to be wrong. We are turning America into a socialist state, where govt decides who gets this and who deserves that. Don't think about getting ahead because if you do the govt will take from you to give to someone who does not have what you do. The socialist agenda is cloaked in compassion. We are sold the sob stories where our human compassion makes us want to help. Remember America, we do not need government to take care of each other. We are a great nation who on average contribute time and treasure to help those in need. We belong to churches who organize and commit to lifting up those who have fallen down. All the government does is reward those who do not produce or contribute to society by taking from those of us who do.

It is up to this generation of Americans to ensure the freedoms our founders tried to protect. We cannot do this passively. We must be vocal and tireless, because our enemies will not rest.
