Okay, so I never claimed to be a math wiz but I gotta call out the President on this one. Today in Arizona, President Obama went to a high school to apparently campaign for the stimulus bill he already signed into law. Why he had to fly all the way to Arizona and expend the resources needed for such an event, I do not know. Why would he not just hold a press conference from the White House? Is he buying into the hype? Does he really see himself as some kind of Messiah? I know I am on a tangent here but did anyone else see some of the zany things being done by his followers? He took a question from a recent town hall meeting where the man almost hyperventilated he was so thankful(to God he noted) that Obama would take time out of his day to talk to them. It is official now. We are now on the hook for more money than I think most of us can even fathom. Forget the price tag voted on today. Many of the items in the bill set up more bureaucracy, which as we have seen in the past, never want to close shop. Almost as soon as these agencies get started managing their programs they will be lobbying for continuance of the funding. You can bet on it. And I do not think a single representative actually read the bill. Why you ask? Because the bill was not delivered until midnight last night and it is over 1000 pages long. Why would they rush this bill to vote so fast? Because more and more Americans are finding out what is really in this bill and they are losing support. The far left of the democrat party have hi-jacked their party and now that they have control of both the legislature and the Presidency they are putting all of their special interest pet projects in one big bill. I took a drive recently. The destination was not important and I barely recollect it anyway. What was memorable about this drive were some of the other drivers on the road. Many times I noticed risks being taken by certain drivers that put them in harms way. Most of the time it took the actions of others to avoid having THEIR risk end in disaster. At a stop light, as east and west directions both got green lights the car opposite me decided to turn right in front of me by gunning it and beating me and the vehicle on my right before we could accelerate. Even having not 'gunned' it I had to let off the accelerator and hit the brake to let this driver pass. This drive has been haunting me. What was so important that this driver was willing to turn in front of us and risk an accident with injury and/or death? I can admit that on occasion someone may really be rushing for an life or death reason I am convinced that more often than not, this is NOT the case. What I think has h...

Sons and Daughters of Liberty, it is time to meet under the tree of liberty and demand better from those who say they want to serve America. If someone in Washington does not listen we need to get rid of them and get someone who will. I don't care what party they belong to. We need to find our voice and exercize our rights, while we still have them! Call your representatives! Talk to your neighbors, family, friends and co-workers. I don't feel that we need a concealed carry permit to carry a firearm. Unfortunately that is now most of our only options if we want to stay law abiding citizens whether those laws are constitutional or not. Gun control advocates preach they only want to keep guns from the criminal. Criminals very rarely obtained their firarms legaly so all they are doing is disarming the law abiding public. There are more gun owners in this country than are standing up for gun-rights and the second amendment. Find your voice people! Every single day in this country a law abiding citizen of the United States of America saves a life because they have a firearm. If you look at the biggest mass shootings in America, they all happened in places where firearms were not allowed. This information allowed the perpetrators to acheive the highest kill ratio possible with the least amount of resistence. In any of these shootings just one armed citizen could have saved lives. Is not even just one life...

Why do you own firearms? Is it not to protect you and your family? Let me tell you why I own Firearms. First and foremost I own firearms for self defense. I carry to protect myself and my family from those who would cause us harm. I carry a gun to protect my rights and to keep those who would trample my rights at bay. I do not ever wish to use the deadly force I am willing to use. But I will. So when disaster strikes, and it seems more evident every day, what will happen? Well, as during the Katrina aftermath, there is the distinct possibility of a breakdown of civilized society. It may depend on demographic, but you saw gangs of thugs roving and looting and generally taking advantage of the lack of any law enforcement. So those with firearms were not without protection, they had their guns. Guns that the U.S. Constitution protects.
